Valentine Bookmarks -- quick and easy doll craft!

Well, it's February -- and Valentine's day is just around the corner! Here is a super fast craft you can do, to show the special dolls in your life how much you love them.

Start off with some Valentine's Day colored paper (I had a pre-made set, full of all kinds of cute pink and red prints!) You'll also want some ribbon, a hole punch or large sewing needle, and of course scissors and a pen.

Cut out a bunch of hearts from your paper! Make them in varying sizes, so you have plenty to choose from. You can use a stencil, or just go after it with the scissors. I think that gives your hearts more character and fun :D

Pick out two or three hearts you really like, and then stack them together. Carefully punch two holes into the heart stack. (You can use a large needle to poke holes if you don't have a punch -- just be extra careful!)

Then, thread a piece of ribbon through the holes and tie it into a bow. Trim the ends off neatly.

Write a note to your valentine on the back...then, tuck it into a book or magazine for them to discover!

Have fun, and happy Valentine's Day!

For Pixie Faire,

Melinda

Love the Valentine bookmark!! Perfect timing too, this very frosty afternoon (too cold to be outside), 3 of my granddaughters are coming to spend the afternoon, what a great craft. They are all 3 readers and all 3 have AG dolls.
