Freebie Friday, (November 21st, 2014) Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (November 21st, 2014) we'll have one of the following four patterns available for free from Cinnamon Miles.

More About Cinnamon Miles, Liberty Jane Clothing: Cinnamon is the co-founder of Liberty Jane Clothing and Pixie Faire. She's also the author of several bestselling books on fashion and sewing. She strives to design on-trend clothing made to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl® and other doll types.

Help us decide which one of Cinnamon's trendy patterns should be free by voting below. Then come back on Friday to see which pattern won and get the free download.

Here is more information about each pattern:

The Bubble Skirt For Girls: The Bubble Skirt PDF Pattern is a girls skirt pattern with sizes ranging from 2T – 12.  It is perfect for the holidays, going to the mall, and just hanging out with friends. The skirt can be made from a variety of fabrics including: Knit, denim, cotton, taffeta, satin, and corduroy. For the little girls that love to match their American Girl ® Dolls, be sure to check out our doll sized Bubble Skirt pattern.

The Pleated Skirt For 18 Inch Dolls: the pleated skirt. Sass! A short pleated skirt can only mean one thing. Sas! A little provocative, but still okay if worn in a proper way. But don’t you want to decide that for yourself? Now you can, with our fun Pleated Skirt Pattern Guidebook. It’s your call. Will your AG doll look like a prep school girl, or a rocker? Hard choice. We suggest you follow your inner star, and make a few different versions to decide for yourself!

The Shiny Happy Dress: You've likely tried the free tee and tank patterns, now you can turn them into a cute little dress with a few simple modifications. The Shiny Happy Dress is a fun and easy pattern modification!

The Bubble Skirt For 18 Inch Dolls: The Liberty Jane Bubble Skirt PDF Pattern can be made from either knit or woven fabric.  The waistband fabric should have some stretch. The skirt is designed to fit above the knees.

Take a Look At Each Pattern:

We'd love to hear your opinion - which one of these fun patterns should be free? Leave a comment below with your opinion!

Ps. Remember to check back on Friday to get the free pattern. We announce it in our newsletter - but you need to also remember to come back to Pixie Faire :)

Pleated skirt. I also have admired it for awhile. I already have bubble skirt which would have been a choice if I didn’t already had it.
I want to make a school uniform for my granddaughter’s doll and the pleated skirt is perfect. I also want to make a long pleated skirt so will appreciate having the pattern to elongate. I love you Pixie-Faire.

I have lusted after the pleated skirt pattern for a long time so I am voting for it. There have been YouTube videos on making bubble skirts for a few years now and I have used those methods shown to create my own patterns for both my daughter and her doll.

I definitely vote for the pleated skirt. I have admired it for a long time. It is such a versatile design, and will look beautiful for both modern and vintage fashions. The best thing about Pixie Faire patterns for me is that they fit American Girl dolls like designer clothes fit people. Because the pictorial instructions are so thorough, even a beginner can turn out a lovely outfit in very little time. Thanks so much Cinnamon! In my opinion, you are the home sewing industry’s icon that everyone else can only aspire to emulate.
