Freebie Friday, (January 30, 2015) Help Us Spread The Word

Hi everyone,

This week we are excited to announce the launch of another permanently free pattern. This time it's a fun new knitting pattern by Anne-Marie Hammond of Cutie Pie and Me. It will launch on Friday at 12:00 AM (Pacific).

A Note About Not Voting: Ok, quick time out to make a comment...We've used Freebie Friday a few times recently, without giving you a chance to vote, in order to launch a new "permanently free" pattern. Some of you have been asking, "what's going on - do we still get to vote?" Don't worry. We will do the "normal" Freebie Fridays this year most of the time, and you'll get to vote and help us decide. But we also plan on launching new permanently free patterns occasionally - and we'll do that on Fridays. Regardless of whether it's a "voted-on" freebie, or a new "permanently-free" pattern, every Friday you can count on us offering you a fun freebie. All we ask in return is that you continue your awesome support of Pixie Faire, spread the word amongst your friends, and remember to leave a review of the patterns you get.

More About Anne-Marie Hammond and Cutie Pie and Me: Anne-Marie is the seamstress and designer behind the Cutie Pie and Me brand. Her fun designs range from trendy, modern, boutique, and historical. Anne-Marie also creates beautiful hair bows by custom order only. Her design work focuses on both American Girl® as well as Bitty Baby® dolls.

More About The New Pattern: You can knit a cute blanket for your doll! Yes, you can! Using basic stitches in an easy to follow PDF pattern, this doll blanket is the perfect project to practice your emerging knitting skills. Two sizes are included that will be perfect for your 15" or 18" doll to snuggle up with! Your dolls will thank you for learning how to knit - so jump in and give it a try!

Let's all be sure to leave a comment and thank Anne-Marie for offering everyone this free pattern! We are grateful for your generosity Anne-Marie, and are honored to partner with you!

It’s wonderful to see so many other people as intrested in making clothes for their doll collection or their children’s doll collection! It’s always so kind when any of the designers share their visions with us thank you so much

Thank you so much, Anne-Marie, for this cute blanket for dolls. Even people who don’t know how to knit yet should be able to knit this. I remember when I was a teacher in Amsterdam, a boy in my first grade class was the first one to learn how to knit. He was both embarrassed and proud. Anyone can learn how to knit.

As a vivid knitter I appreciate that this pattern is a reversable one, especially nice for blankies and also for a dish/wash cloth in a smaller sice. Thanks!!!

The timing of this pattern is incredible as I am making a basic wardrobe for a rescued doll to be auctioned off at church. The blankie will be a perfect accessory to add to her box of clothes.

Oh, soooo cute! I’ve been promising myself to improve my very rudimentary knitting skills, and this may just be the pattern to do that! I made the cute free granny square blanket for the granddaughter’s dolls a couple of years ago, and now Bitty Baby can have a new blankie too!
Thank you so much for this adorable little pattern!

Looks like a very do-able knitting pattern for those of us with nominal knitting skills. I took a look at your other pixie faire patterns — love love love the dolman sleeve top!!!

This is sooooo great, I am just learning how to knit. Made my first scarves(8) with the help of a generous friend to teach me. Took classes this summer, however, it took a friend to help me understand. Learned to knit right handed. wooo hooo!
