School Girl For 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl: The Melody Valerie Couture School girl Dress combines practicality, style, and luxury and will keep your 18 inch doll looking fabulous, whether she’s on time or perpetually late! This PDF pattern features a fully lined dress that has a princess seamed midriff, yoke, and a dropwaist with gathered skirt. The elbow length sleeves and folded ribbon bow complete the look. An invisible zipper closes up the back smoothly. It is designed to be made from corduroy, velveteen, lightweight wool, or cotton fabrics.

School Girl For 16 Inch Dolls Such As A Girl For All Time: The Melody Valerie Couture School girl Dress combines practicality, style, and luxury and will keep your 18 inch doll looking fabulous, whether she’s on time or perpetually late! This PDF pattern features a fully lined dress that has a princess seamed midriff, yoke, and a dropwaist with gathered skirt. New Girl For 16 Inch Dolls Such As A Girl For All Time: The Melody Valerie Couture new girl PDF dress pattern designed, specifically for 16 inch A Girl For All Time dolls, is our take on the quandary of the new girl. It’s demure, a little old-fashioned – but it offers fabulous design possibilities, like the flame appliques on the skirt, the three small mismatched buttons marching down the front, and the little bits of topstitching that waltz across the dress. This lined dress has darted raglan sleeves, dramatic appliques on the skirt, just the right amount of contrast on the fully lined bodice. It closes up the back with invisible zipper nad features bias facings on the sleeves.  It is designed to be made from  rayon, wool flannel, lightweight suiting material, or lightweight sateen fabrics. Standard poly or rayon blend lining; sheer or lightweight accents.

I checked with my granddaughter, and she said that she wants her AG doll to have SCHOOL GIRL. She tells me that it can be in style if I don’t use the thick fabric in the photo. I love velvet but will create it in whichever fabric she chooses. thank you, Liberty Jane.

Since I only have A.G. dolls, I will vote for one of them. I don’t really like the open neck designs because I have very old dolls with white bodies. I have to recut the necklines to make them cover up to the neck. That’s something some designers could consider. A.G. dolls don’t have particularly nice neck/upper chest areas. The break from plastic to cotton is distracting.

Sorry, just had to add my two cents. I’ve bought loads of your designs and love them all. You are so generous to off them to your followers. Thanks.

My vote goes for the 18" School Girl Dress, Melinda; but I like the 18" New Girl Dress a lot too. (I only vote for American Girl-sized patterns because that is the only doll that I have to work with.) However, all of your pattern designs are lovely. The fit, intricate details, and professional finishing techniques set your patterns apart as high quality and are design features that I have come to truly appreciate from the Pixie Faire website. Thank you in advance for your generousity in contributing to Freebie Friday. Best of luck in your continued success and creative endeavors.

Thank you for supporting the exciting dolls, A Girl for All Time. Of course I voted for the New Girl pattern for 16" dolls. I know an AG pattern will win, but thanks for trying to support those of us with other sized dolls. I love the MV patterns so any one that wins will be excellent.
