Freebie Friday (February 3, 2017) Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

On Friday (February 3rd, 2017) we'll have one of the following four doll clothes patterns available for free. This week we're featuring the inspiring work of Marilyn Clarkin and her brand QTπ Doll Clothing

More About Marilyn In Her Own Words: I am happily married to my wonderful husband Richard and we are blessed with three beautiful daughters. My professional background is in children’s ministries, but I have enjoyed sewing for over 20 years. Throughout the years I have sewn for local dance schools and theatres groups. With three daughter I have sewn my fair share little girls clothes. In spring 2013 my love for sewing doll clothes began and in March 2014, I started designing patterns for 18” dolls such as American Girl® and Maplelea®. I enjoy designing and creating modern everyday clothing and shoes. I love keeping up with current fashion and recreating it.

Help us decide which one of Marilyn's patterns should be free by voting below. Then come back on Friday to see which pattern won and get the free download.

Thank you so very much Marilyn and Pixie Faire for a chance to get another Freebie Friday pattern. I have always loved the idea of having several options in one pattern which makes it usable for more than one thing to make. So my vote goes to Fooling around Fooler. We use to call these Dickies when I was a girl growing up in the 1960’s. Pretend collars.

Wow, this is a really hard one since they are ALL so cute. I too would like to say thank you for all the free patterns I have received and will receive in the future. I love your patterns and have purchased a few of them already. I also like the fact that you are also in the same city as me. I didn’t know that.

I love what we used to call dickies to wear under shirts or sweaters. This pattern is so darn cute. If it doesn’t win, I will still get it. It will fit all my dolls except for my little skinny Ginnys. lol I love your patterns and if I was rich or well off I would order everyone of them. I have so many now its unreal. So many patterns and I have the fabric but can’t get to my machine right now so I just cut them out put them in an envelope and when I can get to my sewing machine again I will have plenty to sew.

Ahhh – don’t have any of these lovelies, so what a tough choice! Finally decided on the Lace Dolman Top, as it’s the one I’m most likely to get made, not being much of a cobbler, but since I anticipate buying AG’s new Logan boy doll, the Fooler would be awesome also! Thanks, Marilyn, for all these great choices and I’ll be so happy tomorrow with whatever pattern wins! ;)
