The sun is out and your doll will be ready to greet her friends wearing these fun slip on shoes. There are so many options of packaged trims to choose from when making them; cotton lace, embroidered trim, or crocheted trim will all work great. You just need a style that is at least 2 inches wide and has a straight edge along the length of the trim. A variety of lightweight woven cotton fabrics can be used for the shoe lining.
SPECIAL NOTE -This pattern is designed to fit a Journey Girls Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. A Journey Girls doll is 18 inches tall but has a much slimmer body and smaller foot size. The soles of these shoes are a different shape and size than the ones sold pre-cut on Pixie Faire. You can purchase them or the complete shoe kit and simply trim them down using the JG pattern piece provided - or cut your own from your own supplies.
