It is the Inventor who uses their talent and imagination to create the marvels of the steampunk world. Ceaseless tinkering, designing and occasionally blowing things up – the Inventor is a quintessential steampunk archetype.
The steampunk movement is built on Victorian science fiction. As such, steampunk fashion uses the Victorian and Edwardian eras as a basis and builds from there. One steampunk blogger advised “dress Victorian and then add”. It’s the additions – gears and gadgets - that make steampunk so fun. This pattern includes both Steampunk Boots, as well as Spats for your doll. This PDF pattern is designed to specifically fit 8 inch American Girl® dolls.
There are also two style of sole options included in this pattern. Sole style one is compatible with any of the Pixie Pack SHAPE 1 pre-cut soles (White, Black, Color 1 , Color 2, Black/White Combo, or Black Chipboard). Sole style two is for use with the Punch Place Plus Die and their acrylic soles. You may also choose to cut your own soles as well.
