This pattern is called the Analisa Top. The bodice is empire style with a flared bottom piece that comes to the doll’s hipline. The top opens in back and can either be finished with hook and loop tape or with snaps as a personal preference. The sleeve options in this pattern are a slightly flared long sleeve gathered at the shoulder or a short sleeve gathered at the shoulder and sleeve
opening with a cuff.
The style in this pattern is reminiscent of the 70s era of fashion. This top can
be made with cotton or cotton blends. There are many ways to embellish this pattern along the neckline, sleeve edges and/or bottom edges. Options include lace, ric rac, pompoms, and/or piping. The short sleeve is paired with an alternate fabric for the cuffs and is optional. A bow or other kinds of embellishments such as an applique or ribbon flower can be sewn at the juncture of the faux wrap crossover point. So just have fun with this pattern.

Love this pattern. Purchased this morning have have made four of these tops, all with slight variations. I sew doll clothes for charity and I expect I will be including this little gem in every package. So easy with no linings, sews up fast, easy to vary and although I am an experienced sexist, I can appreciate how this would be a great project even for a beginner.
