The Bristol Cardigan, by Clarisse's Closet, has a very simple seamless construction that comes together so quickly, you won’t knit just one! The design features decorative eyelet and bobble panels along the fronts and 3/4 length sleeves. Knitting begins at the neckline with the fronts, shoulders, and back worked in one piece back and forth. At the underarm, the sleeves are placed on stitch holders and the body is worked to the bottom. Then, sleeves are placed on double pointed or circular needles and knit. Stitches are picked up along the neckline for the collar, and along the fronts for the button bands. Two button band options are included with either two buttons at the top, or five buttons all the way down.
The sweater is shown with the Lisianthus Dress by Melody Valerie Couture (available on Pixie Faire).

I would say I’m an intermediate to almost-expert knitter, and I found this pattern very easy to follow. The instructions are clear, and it’s nice that different techniques are introduced. A Pixie Faire standard!
I had the privilege of testing this pattern. I was “hooked” at the first tiny bobble. The fit is perfect. Instructions are clear but require a little patience until you see the pattern forming. Smooth sailing from there. I couldn’t stop at just one. I have stopped at four, but know I will come back to this pattern again and again!
