This was my first attempt at knitting. It turned out well for a first time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to knit. My biggest problem was figuring out how to sew the pieces together.
The sweater is adorable-however, I found the suggested needle size and yarn did not fit the gauge given. Directions call for size 5 USA needles and chunky yarn. I ended up using size 5 USA needles and sports weight yarn to come up with the 16 stitches and 20 rows to get a block of 2" by 2".
