“Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!” my sister exclaimed chuckling as she pointed to the doll modeling this dress. Sure enough. It was one of those cool dresses I had seen years ago in those magazines like Tiger Beat and 16 and dreamed about having.
This short mini with it's large simple front pleats and color blocked panels jumps right out of the groovy and far out fashion runways and TV sets of the late 60s, early 70s.

I love this dress! I made it for my Les Cheries doll. It fits her perfectly. The pattern was very easy to follow.
I love the duo tones and pleated front of this little dress. It was pretty easy to put together, although it takes some time. I would have preferred a single piece for the bodice back lining and bodice front lining; in fact I traced them out to use the next time I make this. It will save time and reduce bulk. It looks adorable on Emerson.
