Cut it out, read the direction. Used the sleeves on another pattern,(The stretchy long sleeves) fantastic. Will use the pattern as soon as I finish 2 wedding dresses using Dollhouse design pattern.
Excellent love the results
I looked at this dress as a mix and match combo pattern. Look at all the ways this dress can be worn. The white dress is beautiful by itself. But when you add the detachable overskirt, you get another look. And you can use the overskirt with something else, too, because it's detachable. If you look at her pattern cover and my photo, you can see that she pressed knife pleats into her overskirt. I don't think she actually included the instructions to do this, but I thought the effect was so nice, I made her overskirt per the instructions with a gathered waist, then pressed the pleats in. I like the contrast between the straight lines of the pleats and the softness of the gathers. Oh, and did you see the fabric rose -- there are even instructions for making one. Use a soft, silky fabric for this. You'll be adding roses to everything.
