These made up in just an afternoon. Made them in white vinyl. Used my Sizzix to make soles. I glued two tiny blue novelty dragonfly buttons (shaft removed) to toe of the sandals. Dragonfly matched the sole lining fabric I used, which matched the lining of the Phoebe Hat I also made. So much fun. Thank you Miche Designs!
I was hesitant to try to make shoes, but the directions were very clear, and easy and my sandals turned out great! I used a double needle to topstitch the half circles, and like others, stitched them before cutting out the center. I also liked that the supplies were easy and cheap to find. Great pattern!
I found the directions very easy to follow and the sole was thin enough to cut with a regular scissor. Glad I gave shoe making another attempt; turned out really cute too.
This was my first ever attempt at doll shoes. I did as others have suggested and stitched before cutting out the inner portion of the straps. Although I felt like I had two hands full of thumbs, I followed the directions step by step and the sandals came out pretty cute anyhow. Thanks for the pattern and I will definitely be tryng more soon.
