This versatile PDF sewing pattern has 4 unique bodices, 2 collars, and 2 skirt choices to choose from. From casual to dressy, summer to winter, trendy to retro the combinations are as varied as your imagination. The best part is that they are all together in one pattern! The pattern’s origination is from a doll dress found in an old doll trunk from the 50’s. The construction methods from that era are quick and easy, yet the style is trendy and stylish. The unlined bodice with capped Dolman style sleeve is all-in-one piece. The collar and sleeve cuffs are sewn on the wrong side and flipped to the front side, producing a finished edge on the inside side of garment. Sleeve trim is completed with the Hong Kong Finish technique. The back closure is fashioned for hook and loop tape or snaps.
The original pattern methods used for the Nana Dress Two combine basic pattern features that can be used in a variety of styles. This pattern offers great value for the show crafter who wants fast and easy yet trendy and stylish. Mothers and grandmothers just starting to sew doll clothes for those special little girls in their life have a variety to choose from in just one pattern, or maybe you just want to play with all the pieces and design your own look. This pattern offers that variety, all in one download, all with one investment.
The pattern fitted and modeled on older American Girl Dolls, can be combined with the Sofie's Nana Dress for even more variety.

This makes a truly adorable dress and has numerous variations available. The one thing I was not fond of was the application of the collar. I much prefer a facing, binding or lining to this turned method. Other than that it is great.
I like this pattern
Grand daughter loves the fifties. I made this dress for her for Christmas. Super easy pattern. She was thrilled with it.
MMMMM very nice. Great directions. Will get to them after Christmas.
