Slightly fitted and tapered to the waist for a more fashionable fit, the Parka is designed to look puffy, not to make your doll look puffy! Each outerwear is fully lined and has a fur lined hood that elevates the style. All of the styles are easy to pair up with Furry Boots and jeans for an ultra modern casual look! Dress up a Sweater Dress with the coat and your doll is ready for a night out on the town. The sky's the limit when it comes to color combinations. I used, and re-used, this pattern, and I'm still a fan! I just changed the closing for clips by enlarging the two parts a bit before.
Loved this - went together very well - my grand daughter loved it
Granddaughter was delighted getting exactly what she wanted. Had some difficulty with putting fur on the hood - hood needs to be a little deeper to fit better. Instead of fake fur, I knitted a band with fuzzy yarn. Worked well but hood still needs to be a bit deeper to accommodate the dolls’ various hair styles. Also, purchasing the right size zipper shortens the work. Having prequilted material appears to make for easier work but it shouldn’t be too thick or with lining the jacket/coat can be a little tight. I plan to make another with some changes to what I did but all in all it is a great buy to work with.
