This pattern features a top that has a fitted bodice with princess seams, set in ¾ length
sleeves and peplum. The peplum has two tucks in back. The jewel neckline is edged with lace as are the sleeves and edge of peplum. The bodice is fully lined. The skirt is made with three tiers of ruffles and has elastic in the waistband for a pull-on style skirt that falls below the knees on doll.
In this pattern, you will learn how to do princess seams, set in sleeves, do a full
bodice lining, sandwich layers with lace and edge with lace. You'll also sew multiple layer of ruffles with an underskirt and make a casing for elastic. This pattern involves some hand sewing for basting skirt layers and sewing snaps and buttons and/or bows. Also included are instructions for how to make tuxedo bows.
