Your decision isn't whether or not you need a Base Layer Bodysuit ... it's which one to make first!
The ultimate layering piece, this PDF pattern includes options for four sleeve lengths (sleeveless, short-sleeve, mid-length and long-sleeve) and five leg lengths (leotard, short shorts, shorts, capris and full-length). What does that mean for you? You can create the perfect bodysuit for nearly any occasion and outfit!
Layer it under your favorite skirts, pants and shorts. Combine it with a tutu for a cute dance outfit. Substitute it for tights or leggings. Or let it stand alone as a swimsuit, leotard, gymnastics outfit... even long underwear! Your options are limited only by your imagination.
And the best news... thanks to the stretch fabric and elasticized openings, there are no fasteners needed. No hook and loop tape. No snaps. No zippers. No bulky openings to distract from your fabulous outfit. Just pull it on and you're ready to go!
Recommended Fabrics: stretch polyester, spandex blends, performance fabrics
-1/4 to 1/2 yard two-way stretch knit, depending upon bodysuit length (sturdy t-shirt knits, performance fabrics, stretch polyester, spandex blends)

Love this bodysuit! Works great with everything and every season.
Directions were excellent.
This is a great pattern, very easy to put together. I was impressed with the ease of making the armholes and leg holes with elastic. It was simple, easy to sew and makes the whole body suit look neat and fit perfectly. I highly recommend this pattern.
Loved it! Used fold over decorative elastic aroun the neck. Any way to post pic?
