Good base pattern for a cowboy hat

Easy to understand and sew. Broke a couple of needles when sewing the edge before I got the measurement right but that was my own fault. Used fleece for the first one but are gonna use faux leather for next one. My dolls head was a tad bigger then the pattern was constructed for but I could easy resize the pattern to fit her (no AG but still a 18" doll). This pattern will be used a lot!

Fun, easy

I used pipe cleaners and stitched them with zig-zag stitch as I went instead of making the casing for the wire, used washable felt. Went together like a dream, cowboy hubby loved the finished product. I used a babyville snap for the neckerchief. Too cute. Thank you.

Cowgirl felt hat and hankerchief

I've made the hat twice, but I would recommend following the directions as they are unique in how this hat goes together. What I liked best about the hat was it can fold down and be mailed in an envelope, unlike the cowgirl hats you can purchase. I also made the hankerchief and used the button hole/button option. A great accessory pattern.

Hello, I haven't had time

Hello, I haven't had time to use the pattern yet and probably won't until I return home to Minnesota the end of April. We spend part of our winters here in AZ. When I use the pattern I will be sure to let you know how I like it. From looking at it it seems as if the directions are very clear. Evelyn
