Your doll will be traveling in style with this handy portable doll case!
Once constructed, the Fold ‘n Go Doll Carrier is a one-piece unit which can be stored flat and then easily folded into a box for use as a doll carrier. Chipboard inserts provide stability. A wide elastic strap helps the box hold its shape during use. Elastic loops on the inside accommodate up to three doll clothing hangers and an attached fabric panel below is used to help secure the hanging items. Also included is an optional name tag pocket on the front.

This pattern is well written and well engineered to fit an AG doll perfectly. I plan to make another one soon but will change the flap that goes over the clothes on hangers. The flap isn't wide enough for hangers that I have, branded AG and others, so that it wouldn't close more than half way up and the rough Velcro pulls on the clothes. Next one I make will either have a longer flap with Velcro across the top or two bands of elastic that the clothes can be tucked into. I did make a second box as a wardrobe using this pattern but made it 14" tall and 7" square with loops of elastic across the top and accessory pockets on the sides. For that I used corrugated plastic as the structure which worked well.
I love it made one for all dolls in our family of doll. Pattern is very easy to follow. Thanks kathrine
Got it but have not had a chance to make it. I love the concept. Can't wait to make it for my granddaughter.
