The dress seames to be entirely authentic and great for my purpose of dressing a Heritage Doll for a future little girl in the family.will be very happy with all the stages of costunmes mI am including.
I made the smaller hangers for my animator dolls. I had to cut from plywood (using a scroll saw) instead of an old hanger, so I decided to round the corners and not wrap with ribbon. My 12 year old helped me, it was great equity time for a great looking little hanger! I made a simple crate wardrobe to use hangers we. Love it!
This is a super pattern. The instructions are great and very easy. I have made hangers for my dolls, my nieces' dolls, and as gifts for her friends' dolls. Each dress has its very own hanger. For those ladies who can't find wooden hangers, the requirements suggests using pine and gives the measurements needed for each hanger. I had all my hangers cut for me at my local hardware store using the measurements and templates.
The pattern was easy to follow and required only scraps of fabric and trim. Loved the finished look of each pattern. Caution: they are addictive!!
Thank you Little Miss Muffet for a fun filled day of testing hangers. I said I would so 4 hangers, but ended up in doing 11 that day of testing pattern. I would score this pattern a perfect 10, keep pretty this pattern close whenever you cut fabric, and have fun making you doll cupboard look pretty and colorful. Enjoy!!!!!
