While this is a really cute pattern and I love the design, I only gave both the pattern and the Pixie Pack three stars. First I made sure that the one inch size guide was correct before doing any cutting. It was. I made a plastic template for all the pattern pieces to insure that when I traced them out that the traced pieces would be the correct size. I sewed the tiniest of seam allowance that I could. I put the velcro pieces on exactly as indicated on the pattern instructions and still I found the boot to be tight around the doll's leg. I've put a note on the pattern to cut it larger next time again. MY BIGGEST COMPLIANT IS THIS: The pixie pack includes a package of both white and black rivets. The pattern says to use an eyelet tool and needle-nose pliers to attach the rivets. The instructions go on to say "Following the instructions found on the back of the rivet packaging, use the pliers to attach a rivet into each punched hole." The problem is there is only a small plastic bag containing the rivets included in the pixie pack and NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to place them. Zero, Nothing! I am how being forced to go online and try to find instructions on how to insert these rivets. I could guess I suppose but what if I guess incorrectly and ruin my boots? If I'm paying about $20.00 for the pixie pack, then I expect to get the complete instructions. I have previously been extremely happy with my pixie packs which I consider to be quality products but this is a monumental disappointment.
I haven't made them yet but the instructions are easy to follow. They are really cute
