The directions were easy to follow and the coat fits perfectly. I can't wait to make another !
The pattern was easy to follow and the results are really, really professional. However, as per another reviewer, the instructions are indeed missing for attaching the lining to the waistline. It was intuitive for me, however I think a beginning sewer would struggle. In any event, using a suiting fabric made the coat come out very tailored. I replicated American Girl Grace's travel coat, but will also make other coats using this pattern for both my granddaughter's dolls. I would have given the pattern 5 stars, but for the missing waistline instructions I gave this four stars.
The directions were easy to follow. I used a fleece fabric and the fit was great.
This is an adorable coat when finished. However, the instructions were unclear and incomplete regarding especially finishing the lining around the waist and what to do around the neckline. More thought put into the directions would have made sewing this coat a lot easier. all that being said, Having made other coats for children anad for dolls, I ewas able to complete this one and will make more using this pattern.
I enjoyed making the coat and scarf. I cut out two more coat patterns to make.
