Your 18-inch friend will be ready to run and play in these cute shorts-length overalls featuring a slightly gathered, dropped waist and lightly flared legs.
Designed to fit over a snug-fitting top, such as the Base Layer Bodysuit, this outfit is partially lined with buttoned straps that meet in a "V" at the back. Choose soft, draping fabrics for a dressier, skirted look or use more traditional woven fabrics, such as a light denim or seersucker, for more traditional appeal.

These are the cutest shortalls for an 18 inch doll. I forgot to take a picture before giving them to my grand daughter. They came together really great! I did not do buttonholes for the strap fastening, but sewed on hook and loop tape and sewed buttons on the front. I will buy more patterns just like this one.
Really cute design and easy to construct. I’ve made several!
Very cute pattern. I had to add about 1/4" to the pattern over all and 3/4" to the straps to fit Our Generation. Other than that instructions were easily understood and it went together quickly. Love the results.
I love this pattern. Have made a few. Instructions are easy to follow.
