Summer Camp Collection: Roll-Up Capris 18" Doll Clothes

8   |

Your little friend will be ready for whatever warm weather fun comes her way with this versatile PDF capri pants pattern. At full length, these pants hit at mid-calf, but are designed to be rolled up to whatever length you prefer, revealing the contrasting lining underneath.

Other features include optional front and back patch pockets, which may be sewn from matching or contrasting fabric for a variety of looks. The pockets are lined, adding additional detail, as is the waistband casing. An elasticized waist allows for easy pull-on dressing, while front eyelets and a mock tied drawstring add a touch of realism to the look.

Designed as part of the Summer Camp Collection by Matilda’s Closet, these pants complement the Mock Button-Front Shirt and Bucket Hat. Stitch up the entire outfit, then add the coordinating Convertible Bunk Bed pattern by AptOne8, and your little friend will be all set for summer camp!

Summer Camp Collection: Roll-Up Capris 18" Doll Clothes

This was a delightful pattern to use. It was very well illustrated and well worded. It was a breeze to sew up and so cute when finished. My three grandaughters are thrilled with their own individually different capris.

Cute fun pattern

These were really cute when the were finished. The only problem I had was they seemed a little short in the straddle so they are low riders on the doll but other than that very cute.

Easy to Construct

This pattern is absolutely perfectly drafted. All parts fit perfectly together. It is an adorable pattern and looks precious in the contrasting fabrics I used. The only problem I had was with the eyelets, sadly I usually do, So the next time I make them, and I will make them again, I will use the eyelet buttonhole on my embroidery machine and save myself the frustration of having one eyelet turn out perfect and the second not even coming close.
