These pretty dresses, tunic and corset are fabulous – fancy or fun fabrics for the corset determine the overall look – be it casual, smart, elegant or fun. This easy PDF pattern includes the reversible corset; the dress and tunic patterns which offer 3 different neckline, 2 sleeve options and the sleeveless tunic; all are fastened with hook and loop tape. This pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl ®.
Supplies Needed:
Fabric Requirements –The Long-Sleeved Dress was made from Polyester Suiting and lined with Pongee whereas the Short-Sleeved Dress was made using Lightweight Cotton and lined with Pongee. Quilter’s Cotton and Lightweight Denim were used for the Tunic and Tunic Contrast. It is recommended that Quilter’s Cotton or Lightweight Cotton fabrics be used for the Tunic. The Corset for the Long-Sleeved Dress was made from Polyester Cotton and Sequin Fabric, in all other instances, Quilter’s Cotton was used.
