Jumping Jack 3 in 1 Jumper Set 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

3 reviews   |

Quickly create three outfits in one with a turtleneck shirt, flared shorts, and a button on jumper that is reversible to create a faux dress. Based on a pattern from 1974, this 70s retro look is made with a reversible (tunic style) jumper that buttons onto wide leg shorts, or make the easy “belted” version for a more modern look.

This fun pattern will let your doll go from playtime to party time by adding an over the head (and reversible!) tunic style, open sided jumper over the flared shorts to create a faux jumper look. Jumper attaches with four buttons, or use an elastic belt for a simpler project. Pull on shorts have an elasticized back, and the turtleneck shirt has an open back to make it easy for little hands to dress their dolls. This pantskirt outfit is easily made from 1/4 yard of cotton fabric and 1/8th yard of knit fabric. (You can also use fat quarters!) Mix and match your fabrics to create a wardrobe of options in just one afternoon. The photo step by step tutorial and easy construction is perfect for even younger seamstresses to learn to sew.

This pattern was specifically designed and tested on 18 inch dolls such as American Girl ® and will also fit most 18 inch dolls such as MyLifeAs, Our Generation, Madame Alexander and more. Oh Sew Kat! is not affiliated with American Girl® or any toy company; no endorsement is implied. My dolls have a waist measurement average of 10 1/2 inches. Please measure and test the fit on your own doll as there are many on the market and it may not fit the same on all of them.
