A Bit About Shoes Soles
Pixie Faire has spent years developing the optimal pre-cut foam and chip board shoe soles to use for making your own doll shoes. The four different shapes we offer have been specifically designed to fit 18-inch dolls (Shapes 1 and 4), 13-14-inch dolls such as Hearts For Hearts Girls® (Shape 2), and 14.5-inch dolls such as WellieWishers™ (Shape 3). A variety of shoe patterns have been designed for use with each of these precut soles, which will be mentioned down below.

It’s really hard to pick out just one pattern as a favorite. I make a lot of shoes and boots. One favorite is all the Plain Jane shoes, open and closed toe. Also the cowgirl boots and lace-up boots by Miche. See I told you it’s hard to choose. Lol
The Candy Shop Sandals are my favourite: however, the foam clogs are a close second.
My two favorites are the plain janes and no sew patterns.
i would love to learn to make shoes for the 18" dolls. I like the mary janes and tennis shoes.
I haven’t tried making shoes yet but am really excited about the No Sew Janes patterns for AG and LesCheries/Hearts for Hearts dolls. Someday I want to make the amazing lace-up boots for my BFC Ink dolls.

I love the Classic Shoe pattern by Crabapples. I hope it will one day be available for WW dolls. I love that Pixie Faire has so many different shoe patterns for different sized dolls. It is really hard to buy commercial pre-made shoes that are well made to match specific handmade doll clothes outfits. The solution of course, is to make our own. Thanks Pixie Faire!

It is so hard to choose a favorite! I love making shoes and there are do many patterns I would like to get. If I had to chose a favorite, probably the gladiator sandals. I also like the slouch boots, oxfords, foam crocs, and lace up boots. I need to get some shoe patterns for my AGAT doll.

I am intrigued by the Miche Designs patterns. I’ve made a few shoe patterns, some have been better than others, but I am learning as I go.

I have lots of the patterns but the only one that I’ve tried is the Plain Janes by Love U Bunches for Wellie and 18". Easy pattern but it takes patience and practice to get the hang of handling small pieces.
The shoes are all really cute and complete an outfit wonderfully.

I like the birkenstock style sandle because it will work for girl and boy dolls. Precut soles would be great to have. Save time and cutting.

My favorite shoes are the traditional Jane’s. You can make then in so many different fabrics to match any outfit. And they come together so easily, the result generally looks good.

I have been saving things to make shoes for months I can’t wait to finally do it.
My favourite has to be the no sew Janes. I love that I can use left over ribbon pieces to make such cute shoes!

I do not have a favorite yet as I have not tackled making shows as of yet. I have just begun making clothes for my 4 grandaughters’ AGDs. I do have the Coxy Slippers, LJC Janes, LJC Open Toe Janes (for 18" and 14"), LUB Plain Janes, and the MBPC Kara patterns. I hope to tackle them soon.

I haven’t tried making shoes yet, but I am going to try. I have plenty of shoes for my 18" dolls, but I need some for my AGAT dolls & for my 14" & 14-1/2", especially ones that would do for my boy dolls. I have purchase a good variety of your shoe, sandal & boot patterns.
