I have done several different patters for crocheting 18" dolls shoes and they are WOW. The key of course if checking the stretch of the yarn with the type of shoe pattern you are using. And I have made the soles myself and it is not difficult, just time consuming. LOVE the shoes!

I have made several pairs of different styles of your shoes and have had success with all of them. My favorite was the slouch ankle boots. They turned out so adorable. I took the shoes I made to “Sew and Tell” at a meeting at the local sewing center and they were a huge hit. I can’t wait to sew some of the furry boots or fur trimmed boots. But for this season I want the Floral sandals. Toooooo cute.
I’d like to make them for my nieces but don’t know how they will hold up to child play. Can anyone answer that? What has your experience been? Thanks. Happy stitching!
