Beautiful Tudor Dress

This ensemble was fun to make. The farthingale and three sided petticoat assembled quickly. The dress fits well . I will be making this again. Great pattern with great instructions.

Awesome, versatile Tudor dress

This pattern was fun and easy to sew. There are many great parts to this pattern; a farthingale that can be used with other Tudor or Elizabethian dresses, the versatile 3 color petticoat that gives your dress so many different looks and the amazing French hood with just the right shape. The unique fastening on both the farthingale and the petticoat make these pieces fit many different shaped AG bodies. Worth the price and twice the fun!

Tudor pattern

It's a very well-written pattern for an authentic Tudor gown. Everything is explained in simple easy-to-follow steps. The 3-colored petticoat is a brilliant idea that makes the outfit even more fun.

3-in-1 Tudor Ensemble

This is a great and versatile pattern. The dress is well fitting with a beautiful slim bodice. I used eyelets and lacing for the back closing. I have to say, those little eyelets are so much easier to apply than snaps, and give the long, narrow bodice shape you are looking for. While there are some beautiful Tudor gowns available, I think this was the easiest. Instructions were excellent. My favorite part of the pattern was the Kirtle / Petticoat. The way it's made allows you to have three different petticoats for three different looks. I used a black velvet for the dress and three different satin or brocade petticoat fabrics. And one of the petticoat fabrics matched the sleeve lining. The Farthingale will be used with all of my Tudor patterns. This pattern gives great instructions for fabric choice and has a great way to make this conical shape. All pattern versions fit both my fluffy PM's and my new, slim AG's.
