The Amalie Dress is a sleeveless, empire waist dress with a knee length pleated skirt. The pleats are stitched from the waist seam to the hips. There are two views: one with a matching bodice and the other with a contrasting bodice.

Recommended Fabrics: Dress: medium cotton. Lining: light weight cotton.

- View A: 1/3 Yard fabric (lining can be cut from main fabric)
- View B: 8 inch by 35 inch main fabric
- View B Contrast: 4 inch by 16 inch piece contrast fabric
- View B Lining: 4 inch by 16 inch piece of lining fabric
- Matching thread
- 4 inch piece of ½ inch hook and loop tape
- Ruler
- Small safety pin
- Marking Pencil
