Buttonfly Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

2   |

With this swing style, dolman sleeve, hi-lo dress featuring tiny buttons leading into inverted pleats that flow into flare, your doll will be dressed to impress. You get to choose between more flare or more flow with the hemmed or unhemmed sleeve options.
I love a trans-seasonal design, and this is one dress that will “fly” all year long.
Have fun styling with leggings and boots for winter, just boots in the fall,
or some snazzy flats and the lightest of knits for spring or summer. Have fun
contrasting and coordinating fabric and buttons! The possibilities are endless
with this simple stylish dress.
Practice sewing with a variety of knits! This pattern provides instruction and
practice with using a single fold hem with a double needle, and hemming
along a curved edge. This design calls for a hook and loop closure, and is
unlined.

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.

Super easy and very trendy looking

I didn't have any trouble using this pattern, the photos were nice and clear, the explanations were just perfect. I'm really happy with the dresses I made with it. (This has to be a record for me, fastest I've ever used a pattern I bought!)
