Loved making this dress and my little girl is thrilled too.
As with all Marilyn's patterns, this was very easy and quick to make up. Her instructions and pictures are always great but I found this pattern so easy that I only needed a quick reference to them so I know a beginner would be successful with this. I made lookalike AG/Wellie dresses and with spring coming I did the sleeveless version but I can see the sleeves in all sorts of fun sweater knits for fall. I have a feeling this and the Wellie size will be a go-to pattern for me. The fit for both sizes was just right.
I love this pattern because the fit was excellent. I have made several dresses from the pattern already in a variety of fabrics and each was an excellent fit. The pattern was also very easy to modify to use a woven instead of a knit fabric. I look forward to sending these to customers in my shop, Lorelie Creations, very soon! Thanks for another awesome pattern!
I have been sewing for years, but this was my first doll pattern. The pattern was easy to download and print out. The instructions were precise and clear. I really enjoyed sewing the Fit n Flaire Mock Neck Dress and it turned out adorable! I made all three sleeve lengths. I definitely will be making more doll clothes for my two grandaughters' dolls.
I loved making this dress. Instructions are easy to follow and the pattern is full of photos to help you along. I learned a new way to sew on Velcro too!
