This HalterAlls sewing pattern makes a shortalls outfit that is perfect for spring and summer; the perfect mix of shorts and a cute dress. Whether it’s a stroll to the park or down along the beach, keep your doll cool and casual in this one piece romper. Make your HalterAlls long or short, with or without lace, trim, or gathered legs. Have fun with different fabrics. Easy pieces and easy construction make an outfit that is as fun and quick to sew as it is for your doll to wear. The easy “one piece pull on” style and open halter back is very easy for little hands to dress their dolls. HalterAlls are like overalls, but even easier!

HalterAlls for Dolls is an easy to sew pattern to make a halter backed romper. Tie the straps/ribbons at the neck for a classic halter top or cross them in the back like overalls. With ribbon or fabric ties, it's easy on and off for little hands. This pattern is also a perfect starter pattern for girls that want to learn to sew for their dolls, or for more experienced seamstresses to make a basic doll wardrobe with lots of options. This pattern will quickly become a forever favorite!

This classic, simple romper is very easily made from a quarter yard of fabric (quilters' fat quarters work great!) in a woven cotton or other lightweight fabric. Use your favorite fabrics and trims for unlimited design options. The simple front presents a perfect canvas to showcase a special pocket, a favorite novelty fabric or for appliqué, machine embroidery, heat transfer vinyl, iron ons, buttons, trims, ric rac, and fabric painting.

This PDF sewing pattern was specifically designed and tested on 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®. My dolls have a waist measurement average of 10 1/2 inches. Please measure and test the fit on your own doll as there are many on the market and it may not fit the same on all of them.
