A scarecrow inspired costume for fall or autumn. This fun country costume has three items, the tunic, pants and a floppy hat.
The tunic has a two panel front so that you can insert "straw" in the side. The collar is made from hessian for a rustic look. The puffy sleeves have elastic at the wrists and also finished with "straw".
The pants have fun patches sewn on and the ankles are finished with elastic and "straw".
To complete the look is a fully lined floppy hat made from felt.
Included is a very easy technique to use to evenly add raffia or yarn "straw"" to your scarecrow costume.
