It’s Shirr Fun! is an 18” doll pattern by Peppermintsticks that features the technique of shirring. By using a sewing machine and elastic thread, you’ll learn a few tricks to easily create this stretchable accent. The pdf pattern offers a choice of two dress or top styles and several strap variations. Different fabric selections can change the dress from a pretty floral print garden party dress, into a casual top or even a lightweight gauze swimsuit cover up. Strap options include matching fabric straps in two lengths or try using coordinating colored elastic or ribbons for a look all your own.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight wovens, seersucker, stretch terry, gauze
