The Faraway Downs Dress is one of our most popular designs from the
Outback Libby Collection. If you need your doll to look like an Australian outback beauty, this is the pattern for you!
Design details: The dress features princess seams, a lined bodice, faux front buttons, a tiered ruffled skirt, tiny ruffles on the sleeves, and a hook and loop tape back closure.
Bonus: Three-tiered skirt variation with simple elastic waistband casing also included!
The Liberty Jane® doll clothes pattern is designed to fit 18-inch dolls such as American Girl®.
Supplies Needed:
-3/4 yard of fabric - cotton batiste recommended. The fabric needs to be the same finish on both sides.
-Four small buttons
-Thread
-Two small metal rings or 1/2" D rings for belt
-Skirt variation requires 1/4" width elastic and can be made from 1/4 yard of any type of fabric
