This feminine little flutter sleeve dress is designed to fit 15" baby dolls such as Bitty Baby® and the Bitty Twins®, but will also fit other 15" dolls with "baby doll" proportions. The dress features a high yoke, and the bodice is fully lined. The flutter sleeve is lined with a contrasting fabric and utilizes a special technique to bind the edge. Armholes are finished with a contrast bias binding.
Included in the PDF pattern is the baby doll dress, a miniature dress for Bitty Bear, headband with a bow or flower embellishment, applique pattern, and panties.
The pattern pieces are drawn with a CAD program, and include highly detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures to guide you through the sewing process.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight woven cotton and cotton blends
Supplies Needed:
-Dress Fabric: ¼ yard fabric such as cotton or cotton blends. Not suitable for knits
-Contrast Fabric: 3/8 yard woven fabric such as cotton or cotton blends. Not suitable for knits
-1/8 yard Wonder Under or similar fusing web (Optional: for appliqué)
-Scraps of coordinating fabrics - for applique and Bitty Bear Dress
-1 ½” Eyelet Lace – 48” for hem trim and eyelet flower
-Notions: Thread, hook and loop tape, buttons, snaps or buttons for closures and 3/8” wide elastic for hairband
