A sweet fitted sundress that's innocent-looking at the front but has a sun seeker's strappy back view, the Mackenzie Dress, by Genniewren Designs, is just perfect for spring and summer.
The fitted bodice has a V-shaped dropped waist at the front, and a natural waistline at the back. The waistline is emphasized with optional piping to show off the shape.
The Mackenzie Dress has a choice of an A-line skirt (View A) or a gathered skirt (View B). The dress fastens at the back bodice with either hook and loop tape or snaps.
The fully lined bodice is quick and simple to make and the wide straps are easy to turn right sides out, which makes this an ideal pattern for confident beginners and learners alike, particularly when choosing View A with the simple A-line skirt.
This versatile pattern comes with a list of suggestions for taking the Mackenzie Dress pattern further; including a bonus step by step photo tutorial showing how to use the bodice pattern pieces to make a cute reversible top.
Once you have made one of these sweet sundresses you will want to make many more. The Mackenzie Dress pattern will fast become one of your doll’s favorite dresses.

The Cables and Lace dress pattern, by Genniewren Designs, includes a dress, and a shorter version...
Great easy pattern for my Les Cheries Doll.
I really enjoyed making this dress. It worked up pretty fast and it fits my Les Cheries doll perfectly. My only dislike about the instructions is that the pictures of the construction process are with all different fabrics. I wish the pictures would document the sewing process from cutting it out to the finished product with using only the same fabric, trim, & lining. I find myself having to study the photos longer, because I'm not sure what is what with all the different fabrics and trims. This seems to be true of most patterns that I have bought or received free (love the freebies) from Pixie Faire. I hope now that you are selling Les Cheries Dolls, that there will be more and more patterns for these beautiful, adorable, and sweet dolls.
es un vestido muy fácil de realizar y qye sienta muy bian a nuestras muñecas. Gracias por vuestras creaciones
I have this dress pattern in 3 sizes and just love it! The style is very cute and unique. There are 2 skirt options and also included are directions on how to make a top out of just the bodice pieces. The instructions teach you a new way to sew on Velcro so the stitches aren't seen in the outside if the dress, a very useful thing to learn. Yeah! for a new Heart 4 Hearts pattern!
