I love this pattern! I made a couple of variations, eg . removed the cutaway to make a smooth front, omitted the suspenders. That was simply my preference. The directions were clear--before I knew it I had this classy little outfit! One of my first attempts at making a hat. I love it!. I, right away, felt compelled to make up a scenario with my doll that involved a train trip!
