Freebies and Giveaways

Freebie Friday, (January 30, 2015) Help Us Spread The Word

Hi everyone,

This week we are excited to announce the launch of another permanently free pattern. This time it's a fun new knitting pattern by Anne-Marie Hammond of Cutie Pie and Me. It will launch on Friday at 12:00 AM (Pacific).

A Note About Not Voting: Ok, quick time out to make a comment...We've used Freebie Friday a few times recently, without giving you a chance to vote, in order to launch a new "permanently free" pattern. Some of you have been asking, "what's going on - do we still get to vote?" Don't worry. We will do the "normal" Freebie Fridays this year most of the time, and you'll get to vote and help us decide. But we also plan on launching new permanently free patterns occasionally - and we'll do that on Fridays. Regardless of whether it's a "voted-on" freebie, or a new "permanently-free" pattern, every Friday you can count on us offering you a fun freebie. All we ask in return is that you continue your awesome support of Pixie Faire, spread the word amongst your friends, and remember to leave a review of the patterns you get.

Freebie Friday, (January 16, 2015), Help Us Decide

Hi everyone,

This week we are celebrating the 50th pattern published by Liese Brouwer of Doll Tag Clothing. Her new Slumberland pattern is designed to fit the Disney Animator doll. On Friday (January 16th, 2015) we'll have a pattern available from her collection for free Vote now and help us decide which pattern should be free.

More About Liese & Doll Tag Clothing: We'll let Liese share her story with us in her own words...

I am a mother of 3 living in South Africa, 2 boys and a girl. I come from a sewing family and started at a very young age. I remember sitting with my mom and cutting out her patterns for her while she sewed the most beautiful wedding dresses. My favourite baby doll clothes I own were made by my gran... she added the most beautiful detail with lace and bullion roses to every item she made. My mom and I still work together as digitizers for embroidery machines.

I fell in love with American Girl while travelling in the United States and couldn't wait to start sewing for her. When my daughter was born the fun began! I published my first pattern 3 years ago at PixieFaire and the journey has been a blessing in so many ways! I love being able to create for the dolls and then share it with others to enjoy. With every pattern I have grown and learnt a little bit more.

I am also the proud owner of a small doll line called South African Girl Doll. I believe that every girl should have a doll of her own that she can love and dress as often as she pleases. This is a girl's dream world. Letting Girls be Girls.
