Fully lined tote with a flat base and sides tapering out at the top. Three handle options are offered. These include:- Cord handles threaded through eyelets and held in place with knots, handles attached using rivets and handles stitched on. This bag can be made from scraps or recycled jeans etc., and allows for creativity in choice and use of embellishments.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight home furnishing fabrics, duck or canvas, denim, and corduroy. Cottons for lining.
An extra note: The jelly bracelets used for the handles are plastic and flexible. They come in bright color bundles at trendy jewelry stores in the mall, in many party stores, craft stores, children’s departments or in Walmart’s main jewelry department. You can find them online at Oriental Trading, Ebay and Amazon with great deals. You might need to purchase more than one bundle to get 2 matching colors, or try mixing for a fun mismatched look.

I love this pattern. First, because I had not made many bags before. This was such a complete set of instructions that I was able to add my own touches without problems. (You know how you make a change to a pattern, then find out you should have done something differently...). Secondly, I loved seeing all of the tester variations. It's like getting a whole bunch of different patterns in one.
