This pattern consists of beading instructions for making a rosary scaled for a 16-18-inch doll. It is easy to do and can be completed in less than an hour. People have been praying the Rosary since the 11th century. The beads are used to help count the prayers that compose the Rosary. The ritual of repeating the prayers allows for meditative and contemplative prayer.
Supplies Needed:
-59 beads, 3-4 mm in diameter
-54 metallic seed beads
-1 flat metallic bead, 6-8 mm
-1 small cross charm, 10-12 mm long
-1 size #2 crimp bead
-Beading thread
-Fine needle
-Crimping tool or chain nose pliers
-Beading board or dinner plate covered with a piece of velvet or a towel
