Dolly Chain features a string of paper dolls holding hands in the knit design. So adorable!
Construction of the dress: The dress knits flat with a back buttoned closure. The sleeves are created by casting on extra stitches at the armholes.
The infinity shawl: The lacy stitch on the shawl is a four row repeat. The shawl has a back closure with 3 buttons depending on the width of the shawl.

Supplies Needed:
Yarn - Weight 3 or even a Sports weight that will give you the appropriate gauge.
Examples used: Paintbox® Simply DK = about 76 grams ( 209.8 meters / 229.4 yards) as MC. Colorway:115 Red Wine. Paintbox® Simply DK = about 36 grams (99.4 meters /108.7 yards) as CC. Colorway:100 Paper White.
Tester used yarn: Knit Picks® Shine sport.
Other supplies:
• Straight or circular knitting needles size US 4 (3.50 mm) + US 5 (3.75 mm to knit the motif).
• Dpns x 2 US 4 (3.50 mm) for the I-Cord and can also use it to help with the extra stitches when creating the sleeves.
• Button size 0.43’’ (1.1 cm) x 5 for the dress and 3 for the shawl.
• Row counter or a pencil to tick off the rows as you knit.
• Tapestry + ordinary sewing needle.
• Small scissors.
• Ruler or tape measure
