‘Minha Flor’ from Little Miss Muffett, comprises a lined and sleeveless basic dress with a gathered skirt and a high round front neckline which opens into a ‘V’ at the back. The neckline features a row of lightly gathered ‘petals’ encased in narrow binding. The dress closes at Center Back at the base of the ‘V’, with Hook & Loop Tape.
The lined and fitted, elbow-length Cape has a slight hi-low hemline, being lower at the back. The Cape echoes the dress’ neckline with a circle of ‘Petals’ at the neckline and closes at Center Back, with Hook & Loop Tape.
The Lace Gloves are cut separately to fit each hand. Embroidered French Knots and chain stitches form small flowers on the back of the hand and each glove is topped with a small bow.
This Intermediate level PDF sewing pattern from Little Miss Muffett is designed to fit popular 18” soft-bodied dolls such as those shown in the photos and is available exclusively from Pixie Faire.
Suggested Fabrics: Fabric Used in Samples – Chiffon backed with Quilters’ Cotton was used for the Pink Dress and Cape, while Chiffon was used for the Neckline Petals. Satin Viscose was used for the Blue Floral Dress and Cape and Neckline Petals. Lightweight Cotton was used for the Bodice and Cape Linings and Galloon / Stretch Lace was used for the Gloves.

NOTE: A Universal Sewing Needle – 80/12; a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot, are used throughout the sewing process.
