Our Outlander ensemble is inspired by Claire's everyday dresses but it would be equally appropriate fashion for a Highland lassie of 10 to 13. (While young girls--and boys--wore nothing but a cotton shift, older girls dressed like little adults--often in made-over versions of their mothers' cast-off clothing!)
This PDF sewing pattern includes four pieces:
Peplum Bodice has a basque waist and laces up the front with ribbon threaded through eyelets;
Tartan Petticoat is pleated to a fitted waistband with side openings and drawstring ribbon ties;
Stomacher fills in the bodice front opening and is held in place by the lacings;
Bum Roll is worn under the bodice and petticoat for an authentic period silhouette.
A bonus knitting pattern is also included for the Sassenach Cowl.
Recommended Fabrics: Bodice: wool suiting or cotton velveteen; Petticoat: pima cotton plaid or quilting cotton; Stomacher: quilting cotton; Bum Roll: unbleached cotton muslinSupplies Needed:

Facile à télécharger et à utiliser, des explications précises. Un patron de très bonne qualité
I bought Outlandish pattern and LOVED it. I made it for my Felicity doll and since I live and work in Colonial Williamsburg, I did a photoshoot of Felicity in the historic area. I don't see a place to post pix here but I'd gladly share. The sizing was perfect, the directions crystal clear, and I'm looking forward to selecting my next pixiefaire pattern. I'm a beginning-intermediate sewer. Thank you!
Just finished this outfit and it looks terrific. Had to adjust the jacket a little as it was a bit big at the back. Instructions were very thorough
I was quite pleased with the top, the stomacher, the bum roll, and the skirt. I have to admit that I was disappointed that there wasn't a pattern for a shift. I like even my dolls to be completely garbed in period clothing!
