I made the version with a circle skirt for an "Our Generation" doll. The designer suggests the use of a fabric with drape but I used a light cotton polka dot to get a cute retro 50s style dress which is a perfect fit for the doll and which was fun and easy to make. I would recommend this pattern as a good basic pattern.
This dress was a snap to make. I made it in a nice, sturdy stable knit in peach. I made a burgundy belt and chain strap shoulder bag to go with it. Awesome!
I found the overall experience excellent. The pattern is true to size and fitted my Granddaughter's AGD perfectly. I would not hesitate to purchase more patterns from Pixie Faire.
It was this pattern used in Santas Helper pattern giveaway. I love it!!!
