This dress design is reminiscent of the Edwardian era of fashion where lace was the fashion focus. This dress has an A-line silhouette with long sleeves that are gathered at the shoulder. The dress has two large box pleats down the front of the dress and a stand collar. The dress falls just below the doll’s knees and has a sash that wraps around to tie in back. The dress is accented with galloon lace down the two pleats in front and has beading lace down the center front of the bodice. The sash has a tuxedo bow in front which extends around to the back to be tied into another bow. The stand collar and edge of sleeves are accented with lace.
This dress is made with a mini check print in a cotton or cotton blend and can be made with other all-over small prints or a solid color of choice or plaid. This dress is designed to fit a doll with a waist size of 10¼ inches to 11 inches. It can be made with a variety of laces. Dimensions for laces are provided in the pattern supplies.
