Cloaks have been a staple garment in every civilization since the beginning of history. Originally made from pieces of animal hide or rough cloth, they were a practical garment that served as outerwear during the day and a blanket at night. The Regimental Cloak is cut in a circle to give it an impressive drape ~ fit for a General. For added protection from the elements, it also features an elbow length cape and a high collar. Both the cloak and cape are fully lined.

I love this pattern! So beautiful and easy to use. I left off the small cape as I was working on a custom order for my sister's 40 year reunion/graduation from nursing school. The result was perfect.(And she was delighted).
