I was gifted this pattern by a friend for my birthday. She had bought the pattern and couldn't finish the dress satisfactorily herself. So she gave me the stuff and let me have at it-- and after working as a seamstress for 2 years and sewing for dolls for over ten, I couldn't understand the pattern.
