The Wellington Dress from Jelly Bean Soup Designs is a sweet dress featuring a gathered skirt that is high-waisted in front sloping to a natural waistline in the back. The top of the dress is lined and shoulders are slightly dropped with a dolman sleeve design. The dress fastens in the back with hook and loop tape. The shrug jacket is made of faux fur and exactly mimics the shape of the dress at the waistline. The jacket is fully lined.
Design Note: The shrug could also be made of different fabrics and worn alone with jeans or a skirt.

This pattern by Genniewren Designs, is an 18" doll-sized recreation of the Naval Commander's full dress uniform worn...
I love this pattern. it is very easy to sew and it turned out beautifuly.
Very nice pattern and turned out nicely. Easy to follow directions.
Adorable pattern, Can't wait to make it.
I found this an enjoyable pattern to sew, with easy to follow instructions, and photos which clearly showed the instructions. No problem with fit on my fluffy PM's or my custom Lea doll.. I love the curved bodice. I also love gathered skirts, and you can see in my outfit that I feature that - I used Kona-type cotton fabrics for both the dress and shrug and starched the skirt to emphasize the fullness. I added the fruit with Heat and Bond applied appliqués to the skirt and shrug.
